The Improvement Advisor is dedicated to helping to identify, plan, and execute improvement projects by an internal consultant providing support necessary to deliver results and spread changes. The Improvement Advisor functions as a change agent, collaborating with staff to drive continuous, rapid performance improvement. The Improvement Advisor provides skills, knowledge, and expertise in performance improvement tools and techniques. The Improvement Advisor, working with an operational or administrative leader, supports and facilitates change that leads to improvement. TMH emphasizes evidence-based medicine and data-driven improvement, and the Advisor provides expertise in measurement, use of the Improvement Method, teamwork, meeting facilitation, and project management. The Advisor also supports communication and reporting related to improvement through preparation and delivery of reports, presentations, public relations communications, and other materials.  

Education: Bachelor's Degree in statistics, quality improvement, operations research or related health care field

Experience:  2 years related experience demonstrating performance improvement skills and abilities is required.  5 or more years related experience in statistical processes, quality improvement, and data analysis is preferred along with knowledge of regulatory standards (state laws, The Joint Commission, conditions of participation.) Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite applications, Word, Excel, and Outlook is also highly desirable.
