Responsible for efficient, courteous and professional answering of calls to the TMH Information Desk; greeting and assisting visitors, patients, physicians and colleagues who present to the TMH Information Desk in a courteous and professional manner making sure they are directed to the right area of service or department. Must always remain calm and professional at all times regardless of the customer's behavior. Skilled in courtesy, tact and diplomacy as he/she is usually the first contact a visitor or patient will meet. Must maintain patient and hospital confidentiality at all times.
Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
Experience: 1 year experience in reception duties of greeting public and answering phones. Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one or small group situations to visitors, patients, physicians and colleagues. Good language skills, able to be understood. Computer literacy and keyboarding skills.
Hiring Range: $8.36 - $9.83 per hour
