The Cafeteria Server performs a variety of dietary functions including daily meal service in the hospital. Performs routine duties related to serving food in the cafeteria as well as setting up food displays and maintaining food serving areas in the cafeteria. Greets customers and interacts with them to provide cafeteria service. Keeps area clean. Maintains food safety standards. Reads and understands and communicates daily cafeteria menu to customers. Assists with maintaining clean and organized area throughout cafeteria and dining room. Performs other duties as assigned by manager that may include other similar food service areas such as tray line worker.
Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred. Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Experience: 1 year of food service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
EMPLOYMENT WITH TMH IS CONTINGENT UPON THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A DRUG SCREEN, CRIMINAL HISTORY SEARCH AND HEALTH ASSESSMENT.
Hiring Range: $8.16--$9.59 per hour
