Provides administrative support to Medical Record Department. Operates with significant autonomy in decision making and maintains a significant level of responsibility utilizing knowledge of computer programs, office systems and procedures, hospital policies and procedures and interdepartmental functions. Performs a variety of specialized duties relating to the department. Oversees the operations of business functions including purchasing of general supplies using a budget. Develops and maintains departmental personnel, vendor, and project files.
Education: High School Diploma. Associate Degree preferred.
Required: 2 years office experience with organizational/coordination responsibilities and good knowledge of computer applications.
Preferred: 3 or more years office experience with organization/coordination responsibilities and high level knowledge of computer applications within a medical office or health care facility is preferred.
Hiring Range: $11.34 to 13.88 per hour
