Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Patient Account Specialist is to provide excellent customer service and to serve the department as clerical support, including reception and patient registration responsibilities. Provide a billable account by gathering complete, timely, and accurate information from the patient in a customer friendly atmosphere.


Minimum: High School Diploma or GED 


Minimum: One year of job related experience; previous experience demonstrating direct customer service. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Preferred: Two or more years of job related experience; previous experience demonstrating direct customer service. Office experience including operation of office equipment, i.e. computer, telephone, fax, scanner, copier. Computer proficiency. Knowledge of medical terminology.

Hiring Range--$8.82--$10.58 per hour

 Additional Information

Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
