Assist the patient in the completion of their activities of daily living including accompanying patients to activities, carrying out designated nursing care, obtaining specimens, and carrying through with delegated portions of the unit program. This is a direct patient care position. Excellent customer service and communication skills are required. Education: High school diploma or GED required. Vocational or technical school degree preferred. Experience: Previous psychiatric inpatient care experience is preferred. Hiring Range: $9.04 - $10.85 per hour Acceptance of a Psych Speciality Technician position requires the completion of mandatory hospital Orientation for a full week, Monday-Friday 8a-5p. |
