Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the Patient Account Specialist is to provide excellent customer service and to serve the department as clerical support, including reception and patient registration responsibilities. Provide a billable account by gathering complete, timely, and accurate information from the patient in a customer friendly atmosphere.
Education: HS Diploma/GED required
Experience: One year of job related experience; previous experience demonstrating direct customer service. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred: Two or more years of job related experience; previous experience demonstrating direct customer service. Office experience including operation of office equipment, i.e. computer, telephone, fax, scanner, copier. Computer proficiency. Knowledge of medical terminology.
Hiring Range--$8.82--$10.58 per hour
