Job Summary:  Performs routine administrative support for the Department. Duties involve, but are not limited to, disseminating information; maintaining filing systems; creating databases as well as the input and merging of data. Identifies opportunities to improve patient safety and participates in projects and programs designed to reduce error and improve safety.

Specialty Responsibilities include: Residency Program duties- schedule noon conferences; publish noon conference schedule; make sure appropriate paperwork for each conference is made (i.e., sign in sheets, CME credit, etc).; manage calendar for conference room; annually arrange and coordinate 2 advisor meetings (1 mid-year and 1 end of year meetings through New Innovations - order reports and portfolios); receive and record all mini-CEX; record modules in New Innovations; key morning report and noon conference attendance in New Innovations; assist with monitoring completion of resident and faculty evaluations in New Innovations; enter and maintain clinic schedules for residents and faculty.

Front Office duties: all front office functions; coordinate appointment scheduling and patient payment functions.

Education:  High School Diploma.  Associate Degree preferred.

Experience: Two years office experience with organizational/coordination responsibilities and good knowledge of computer applications.

Preferred: Three or more years office experience with organziation coordination repsonsibilities and high level knowledge of computer applications within a medical office or health care facility.

Other Skills/Training:  Excellent skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint in addition to speed and accuracy.  Advanced organizational and communication skills are necessary in this busy multi-physician office.

Hiring Range: $11.34 to 13.88 per hour
